The operating system for modern laboratories
For clinical, molecular, toxicology and reference labs — connect ordering, LIS, billing, integrations and AI on one platform, and run the work from order to result to revenue.
Software. Automation. Laboratory Operations.
Traditional LIS vendors sell the first. Billing companies sell part of the third. We build all three, so the boundaries between them stop being your problem.
- 01 · Software
The GetLabServices platform
LIS, portals, billing, analytics and integrations built as one system with a shared data model — not modules bolted together after the fact.
Explore the platform - 02 · Automation
AI and workflow automation
Document AI, extraction, validation, routing and integrations that remove the repetitive steps between a fax arriving and an order existing.

Managed laboratory operations
Trained operational support for data entry, eFax, results and billing when a laboratory needs capacity rather than another system to run.

Your laboratory shouldn't run on disconnected systems.
Most laboratories do not have a software problem. They have a boundary problem — and every boundary between two systems is staffed by a person re-typing something.
Manual data entry
The same patient, provider and insurance details keyed into three systems.
Paper requisitions
Orders that arrive as paper or scans and have to be read by a person before anything can happen.
eFax overload
An inbound fax queue nobody owns, holding orders, insurance cards and records in one undifferentiated pile.
Duplicate patient records
The same person created twice because two intake paths never talked to each other.
Disconnected LIS and billing
A result released in one system and a claim built by re-typing it into another.
Manual eligibility checks
Coverage confirmed one portal at a time, often after the specimen has already been run.
GetLabServices connects the entire workflow.

Six capabilities on one data model. Adopt all of it, or start with the workflow that hurts most.
LIS
A complete LIS for orders, specimens, accessioning, testing, results, reporting and the workflow rules that hold them together.
Every specimen's state, visible without asking anyone.
Explore the LISLab Portal
One digital front door for the providers, clinics and patients your laboratory serves — ordering, documents, tracking and results.
Fewer status calls; clients answer their own questions.

Eligibility, coding, claims, ERA, patient responsibility and accounts receivable connected to the same order the lab is running.
Claims built from validated intake — not re-keyed from a report.
Explore billingAI Automation
Document AI, extraction, classification and intelligent routing that take repetitive work off your staff — with human review built in.
A faxed requisition becomes a structured draft order.

Connect the laboratory to the systems around it: EMRs and EHRs, HL7, FHIR-ready interfaces, reference labs and clearinghouses.

Operational and financial dashboards built on the same data the laboratory runs on — volume, turnaround time, productivity and revenue.
Turnaround measured by stage, so a slowdown is attributable.

01Order
A provider places an order.
Orders reach the laboratory through the portal, an EMR interface, an API call, or as a document — a faxed or scanned requisition. All four paths land in the same order queue rather than four separate inboxes.
- Provider
- Ordering provider, NPI and the facility the order came from
- Patient
- Demographics, insurance and prior history if the patient is known
- Tests
- Test selection against your catalog, with CPT and diagnosis codes attached
What the platform does here
- Portal ordering for providers and clinics
- EMR/EHR order interfaces over HL7 or API
- Document intake for faxed and scanned requisitions
- Standing order and recurring order support
Documents are classified and read before a person touches them, so a faxed requisition arrives as a structured draft order.
AI doesn't replace your laboratory. It removes repetitive work from it.
A faxed requisition becomes a structured draft order before anyone touches it. What the automation cannot resolve confidently is held for a person, with the specific reason attached.

A person sees the extracted values next to the source page, corrects and approves.

Clinical laboratories
Laboratory software for independent clinical laboratories
Routine, high-mix testing across many ordering practices puts the pressure on intake and turnaround. GetLabServices connects ordering, accessioning, results and billing so volume growth does not become administrative growth.
- Unified order intake
- Client and facility management
- Turnaround time monitoring
- Connected revenue cycle
Connected to the systems around the laboratory.
EMRs and EHRs, HL7 messaging, a FHIR-ready architecture, reference laboratories, clearinghouses, instruments and APIs.
EMR / EHR
Connect laboratory workflows to the clinical systems your ordering providers already use.
HL7
Support for the healthcare messaging workflows most laboratory interfaces still run on.
FHIR
A FHIR-ready architecture for modern healthcare interoperability.
Reference Laboratories
Send orders out and bring results back, mapped to your catalog and reconciled on return.
Clearinghouses
Eligibility, claim submission, status and remittance for the revenue-cycle workflow.
Laboratory Instruments
An architecture that supports instrument connectivity where it is appropriate.
APIs
REST APIs for building against the platform directly.

Automation and services absorb the repetitive work
Common questions
Is GetLabServices a LIS, a billing system, or a service company?
All three, and they are designed to work as one. The platform provides the LIS, portals, billing and analytics; the automation layer removes repetitive work between them; and managed services provide trained operational staff where a laboratory needs capacity rather than another system. A laboratory can take any one layer on its own.
Can GetLabServices work alongside an LIS we already have?
Yes. Laboratories frequently start with a single workflow — inbound document processing, eligibility, results delivery or billing — connected to their existing system through APIs, HL7 or file-based interfaces, and expand from there.
How does the AI layer avoid making clinical decisions?
It does not make clinical or coverage decisions. The automation layer reads documents, extracts data, checks it against validation rules and routes exceptions. Anything below a confidence threshold, or that fails a validator, is held for a person to review and approve before it moves forward.
Do you support multiple laboratories under one organization?
The platform is multi-tenant by design. A laboratory group can operate several laboratories, each with its own facilities, providers, users, test catalog and workflow configuration, with role-based access controlling what each user sees across them.
What does implementation look like?
Implementation starts with mapping your current workflow end to end, then configuring the test catalog, facilities, providers, users, delivery rules and integrations to match it. Scope and timeline depend on the number of interfaces and the state of the data being migrated — we scope both before committing to a schedule.
